sinabi ni Front man Will I Am sa kanyang mga fans via twitter  that the band is very much together and has not broken up. “Why do people listen to rumors...Me and @apl_de created the peas...so...from the creators mouth...We are not breaking up...stop the rumors,”   umalingaw ang mga  balita ng ihayag ni Fergie  sa isang  tribute concert nila kay  Michael Jackson, “Michael Jackson Forever.”  the band is taking an indefinite break..
